Even though adelaide/melbourne games still going my team has finished. However I have Harvey and his fat zero but SC may be going ahead and giving me my emergency's score from Mitch Brown. can anyone confirm this??

m0nty: btw clarification has come through on Harvey/Hille: apparently their prices won't change and you do get emergency scores

which is bs imo

Guess we will see what happens with this by midnight. :D

Just hoping Petrenko the spud stays on zero and I get Hills 76 :)

Gonna get M.Browns 78 for Boomer too.

Can't do anything about Hille unfortunately.

Oh well who cares, still won all my 3 league matches including Bigfooty Div 7.

So proud of my boys, what a win against adversity. LOL!

Even though I have Hille, players should get their 0 and the price drop. It is very unfair for teams to start a player yet can get their emergency to cover if he ends up on zero. Here is a few scenarios to consider:

A player can play a whole game and end up on Zero, Emergency plays price doesnt change.
A player can end on -1, Emergency doesnt play price does change.
A player has Harvey as captain, Emergency plays AND vice captain gets double points! price does not change! WHAT A JOKE

This has huge implications on thousands of league games and could easily cost someone 50 grand at the end of the season. Common sense has to prevail with this.

Petrenko even looks like he is going to score zero. FFS come on heraldsun dont be idiots.

I think as long as they are on the ground at the start of the game. Their score should count, even if its a zero.

just had a look at my final score and it includes my forward emg. (brown) instead of harvey so the zero doesn't count!:D

Even though it hurts me, the prices should change and there shouldn't be an emergency to come in. Whats the difference between this and Ottens going down after a couple of touches and getting 4?

You could be right, but I should point out that there is one very big difference here being that Schoenmakers had collected stats in that game and the "computer" calculated a score of zero. Hill/Harvey had no stats as far as I know.
I swear Harvey got like 2 contested possessions and also got his handball away just before he got injured, didn't he?

So if a guy gets towelled up by his opponent and sits on the bench for the rest of the game because the coach doesn't want a spud on the ground then he should be replaced by an emergency?

Nah mate

This is what I believe should happen:

Player has zero stats and therefore scores zero points, can be replaced by an emergency. (This IS the case with Harvey and Hille)

Pllayer has accumulated stats but somehoe ends on zero points, should not have an emergency replace him (This IS the case with Shoemarkers and would have been for Petrenko)

I would not be against this, but if any zero gets a replacement than thats just a crock of shit quite frankly.

If it turns out that Hille/Harvey's score don't end up counting, then I urge every BigFooty reader to voice their concerns to Herald Sun / Supercoach mods. I doubt they read this forum, so the only way to let them know is by writing to them.

There is a message box in there which I have used in the past to contact them, and they have replied so you can be assured that they will read what you write.

The more complaints they get, the more they will have to listen and do something about it. So I urge everyone to do it to help make supercoach a fair game.

This is my 4th year of playing supercoach and have really had enough of all the problems / flaws with the game. Next year I am definitely switching to Dream Team.

The consequences for having a player injured like Hille are far too severe. You cop a zero, which is fine (not fine if they score 1 point and can't be replaced by an emergency). Then you cop a price drop (which in no way reflects their ability). Then you cop 1 or 2 trade outs to replace them. Yes, we are all equally at the mercy of such bad luck but luck should never be so costly as to put you so far on the back foot. A much fairer ruling system could be created here methinks.

I reckon the only concession that might be better is for the price change not to count. But really, it's just part of the game. Emergencies shouldn't count. And you have to make allowance for injuries with your trades, and maybe cop zeros for 1-2 week injuries. Sucks when it happens, (I have Hille with no cover), but that's the game. Bad with the good.

In dreamteam, if Harvey's score counts, then I lose by ONE F@#%ING POINT. That's right, ONE point!! If it doesn't count and the emergency does, then I win by 63.

With that in mind, if it doesn't count i urge to everyone to do nothing and just accept this as a quirky anomaly of the system.:)

I urge you also contact the AFL and plead with them to replay the Ess v Coll, North v Rich games.

Clearly Essendon should have won by more having Hille for the whole game and North could have won with Boomer. Terribly unfair system that a player may get injured and can't contribute.

Each week someone gets smoked in a different way, I've been drilled by bad luck many times. This week it was you. Accept it and move on.

GREAT NEWS FOR BOOMER/HILLE OWNERS: Prices stay the same as before the 0 due to a flaw in the system, this means emergencies count and the 0 doesn't affect their prices... courtesy of VS and Dream Team which use very similar/almost the same pricing/code, BTW got this info from the DT board.

So you can explain then why ryan schoenmakers had a zero and it affected his price?

Well although I benefit from Hille's price staying the same I reckon that's crap and if I lost a league match due to an opponent getting an emergency's score I'd be pissed.

I have Hille in DT and his price stayed the same. This is great news! In comes Big Cox now!
