Zimbabwean Standoff Ends

I was having trouble with that link, so here it is again in case others are too:

Even with these players back I don't think they are much cop. Andy Flower was good, Olonga had his moments, Streak can be OK; but Stuart Carlisle, Trevor Gripper and Craig Wishart are not really Test standard for example. Of the new bunch, Taibu is a good battler, but the others seem to be seriously flawed.

The political situation still rolls on of course and that won't help.

Dion Ebrahim can bat a bit, Matskeneyri is a good competitor. Still they will not beat anyone other than maybe Bangladesh and so you could argue they should be stripped of test status.

Craig Wishart has hit some good test knocks...admittedly agains weaker test opponents

stuart carlisle is a battler who values his wicket...heath streak is a very good player

of course this can only mean good for Zimbabwean cricket

also a shame to read Grant Flower and Ray Price havent signed on again.......they are definitely key parts of any Zimbabwe lineup
