The cynic and pessimist in me had me convinced they would do the dirty on Zorks and leave him out.

Happily, my faith in human nature has been partially restored.

Congratulations young man on a well desrved accolade.

Would have preferred Sloane to Selwood but apart from that it's hard to argue with the team

Great stuff. Would have been more surprised if he'd missed out than anything but that may well be a touch of bias :). Reward for hard work and a fantastic individual season.

Wow, honestly surprised. Didn't think his year was nearly dominant enough to overcome the team's crappiness. Excellent to see him up there.

Onya Tink! Been a great season from him - maybe fatherhood is the magic ingredient!

Ok I'll say it but...

To see 3 "Lions" in that side makes you realise how much we screwed up.

Thank f**k that's behind us.
Indeed - the wasted years. Imagine those two prowling around the midfield. And it wasn't like we didn't know they were great players. Intensity - note Schache.

Really? How so?

Awesome news.

On Sloane: he would have been a lock going into the bye, but as a SuperCoach Sloan-er from round 1, I can tell you his second half of the season was not AA worthy. Matt Crouch took over as the key mid. Had a few eye-catching games when allowed space, but could not handle even mediocre taggers.

Yeah I would have thought JPK was more deserving than Sloane or Selwood. Actually think even Cotchin and Gibbs had better years.

Zorko came 10th in the coaches association award. impressive.
He should do well in the brownlow.
Equal 8th really. Not sure if there's a count back system (but let's assume there's not!)

That's a hugely impressive achievement given he plays in a team that came last and, for half the season anyway, was clearly the worst performed team in the comp.

Going through the votes, I was interested to see Stef Martin poll in something like 5 games. Provides some support that his B&F finish wasn't totally out of the blue.
