Richmond

I know it’s no consolation, but at this rate the Tigers will certainly play finals, and they’ll surely start winning soon.

Sydney

With the faltering of Collingwood, the uneasiness at Geelong and the simple points differential they have over Hawthorn, they’ve got to be a top 4 chance, if not a premiership contender.

Adelaide

Quietly winning away. They’re not getting coverage in Melbourne, but on current form they’re going to make the finals by default due to their schedule. Whether they’ll make a splash in September is another thing, but right now it’s been okay.

The kids of the Gold Coast

No Ablett, no Rischitelli, no Harbrow and brilliant nonetheless. Need more of that, guys.

Collingwood and Essendon

When questions are being asked about giving the ANZAC Day clash to other teams, that’s the result you need. A final-term comeback to hit the front, a superstar generally being amazing and a one-point thriller. What a game.

Anyone who put up with Friday night’s serving

Compare this game to ANZAC Day. ANZAC Day was back-and-forth, flowing fast football. Fremantle v Carlton was nothing of the sort. A terrible spectacle that I honestly switched off at half time.

Hawthorn

The effort against West Coast obviously took quite a lot out of them, but they still looked decidedly average. The opening to their season was always going to be rough, yes, but the Hawks could very well be 5-0 right now. Instead they’re out of the eight.

The MRP and Andrew Raines

Selwood decision is a genuine joke. Consistency non-existent.

Port Adelaide

Unfortunately for Port, they are further down a path Richmond risk treading, that of the continued honourable losses. Besides, does such a thing even exist in the Showdown?

GWS

Simply for changing the song. Guys, sort it out!
