I think the only way we were going to get Bont was if they really failed this year and they sacked Bevo. Then he’d be wondering if he could go through another rebuild. Even then his head would have more likely have been turned by a vic club. -

Have any of the players that he has met with chosen Hawks? He met with Allen, but he’s off to Brisbane, and there is no guarantee that Zach will end up at Hawks. Leaking meetings like this could back fire too, as the player may be dirty that they have been outed. -
