West Coast showed that without a bucketful.of injuries and a gun recruit they can at least compete. In retrospect our win against them was probably better than we thought. Still think Melbourne will get enough wins to be around 4th -5th and they have plenty of finals experience.
The ladder though , between 3rd and 10th only four points and percentage. Brisbane and the Dogs are still in touch of the eight. It's nuts.
Roll the dogs and enjoy the bye week off and see what happens.

You're right, goes back to what caesar88 was saying about the media. Not so much about journalism now, it's more about what gets clicks, etc., which is what H.Reid gets. Wish they would lay off him.
Not just that heaven forbid if they drive him out and he goes to a Geelong or Collingwood.

Also, if our mids got half the free kicks for holding/pushing at a stoppage others did, we'd get 50 frees a game.

Freo really don't mind giving off a handball to a teammate under the pump even though they have the time to make a better decision.

They were able to sustain that pressure will be interesting if they can do it for 4 quarters which was a staple to their flag.
Who knows what sort of confidence Freo would have if the 2 games in Adelaide went their way...

Amiss' confidence looks absolutely shot. Wonder what happened. Since his junior days he was a real deadeye.
