I know Darcy doesn't actually miss many games with injury, but it feels like he's been involved in so many tests over his career his nickname should be Allan Border.
Why the saints? due to Ross Lyons? that is modern history.I've thought for ages that St Kilda is our biggest rivalry.
Going back to 1995 it was all about those Coasters.
Well i guess i see rivalry as meaning something different . not a hatred of them, but just wanting to show we better than them.
If they all Flogs then we already better than them so no need for Rivalry. If they achieving more than us than we need to get down and win that Rivalry.

Maybe I should see if they let me play.. even at my fitness levels, they may stand a chance of kicking a goal.

They have a strong culture.

If you had the choice of living in Sydney or Melbourne and play your footy without the media on top of you.
Sydney is the place to be.
Give me Bondi, Bronte, Maroubra, Manly Beach over St Kilda and Port Melbourne every day of the week.
They are a hard nose battling club I wish Freo were. Always up and around the mark.

To me a beach is just sea meeting the white sands and place with a nice coffee lounge to relax and watch the candy walk past.
Bondi is nice enough but like Coogee, is too packed.

I swam at Brighton beach once, just round the bay from St Kilda. It was freezing and dirty.
yes melbourne gets that cold water from southern ocean. it is like swimming in Albany Western australia . can be very cold.
went skinny dipping once there and got parts almost completley frozen .. brrrrrrr
