Honestly I don't see gradients making that any better.

The font is bland, whole thing looks messy.

I didn't really like the foxsports graphics last year but I did like the fact they used the teams jumper designs (wings designs for example, they even used the yellow peril design when it was used) to represent the team, unlike what FoxFooty has now which is just 2 stripes of the teams colour.

The two strips thing is ridiculous! Firstly, there are clubs with more than two colours, but only Adelaide and St. Kilda seem to get to have three stripes actually shown.

Brisbane is only maroon and blue
Gold Coast is only red and yellow (though I'd argue blue and/or white are very much fringe clours anyway, so I can let this one slide)
GWS is only orange and a weird white/grey mix of a colour
Port Adelaide is only black and teal
West Coast is only blue and gold
Western Bulldogs is only red and blue.

So they had the farce last weekend of Brisbane v Melbourne, both with basically dark red and blue. They need to either do it properly or not at all.
