Thought Id crack open the game and try and nuzlocke challenge.

Just doing some grinding right now before my first gym battle.
But thought I'd give a slight update

New Bark Town - Chikorita (Dino)
Route 29 - Hoothoot (Hedwig)
Cherrygrove City - TBD
Route 30 - Hoothoot - Killed it
Route 31 - Bellsprout - (Sprout)
Dark Cave - Geodude - (Tails)
Violet City - Togepi - (Softboiled)
Sprout Tower - Rattata - Killed it
Route 32 - Wooper - (Dopey)
Union Cave - Rattate - (Hyper)
Route 33 - Hoppip - (Cottonball)
Slowpoke Well - Zubat - (Swift)
Azalea Town - Spearow - (Bird-God)
Ilex Forest - Kakuna - Killed it
Route 34 - Drowzee - (Trade-bait)
Goldenrod City - Machop - (Muscle)
Route 35 - Nidoran (male) - Killed it
National Park - Kakuna - Killed it

Currently grinding Sprout up in Dark Cave, once I've used all vine whips on geodudes (running from zubat) ill go heal and come back and grind with geodude. I feel Geodude will be the rock to take down Falkner (and probably Whitney too - Who knows. Ill probably need to be ****ing strong when approaching her.

So I swept Faulkner with Tails a few nights back.
Upon reaching Route 32 I decided I'd wait till night as I wanted a Zubat. (I love Crobat/Golbat - And I knew I'd need something to know fly later on)

Ended up getting a Wooper.
Had to bulbapedia what it evolves into it. Upon seeing what Quagsire looks like, I named it Dopey.

So I'm up to 5 pokemon and 1 badge.
No deaths yet :)

Will edit OP with what I caught everywhere :)

Something egg related obviously. Though Togepi might be tough in a Nuzlocke except for cannon fodder

I was thinking Hard Boiled or Soft Boiled or something.
But I really don't know.
 
Thank **** I was loaded up on potions
Needed them for Dino after my rivals Ghastly used Mean Look on me then switched out for Zubat.

L13 Chikorita vs L14 Zubat?

Went back to Azalea Town hoping to use headbutt (known by Softboiled) to get a Herracross.
Got stuck with a Spearow which I've named Bird-God (Pidgeot is Bird Jesus and Spearow > Pidgy)
 
Yes, got exactly what I wanted (I just watched a nuzlocke on line which made mw want to do it, and this was the key route)

Route 34 - Drowzee
Named it - Trade-bait

Now get me to Goldenrod to get rid of it for Machop (the pokemon I need for Whitney's demise)

Hopegully Muscle can sweep.
If he dies, Tails should be capable of the win with his D and A high with the type advantage.

Wow. never knew it was that easy to beat Whitney. :)
