Slow play does have its time and place but jeez our forward line looks a lot more dangerous with quick ball movement through the middle of the ground.

Carlton did good job of pressuring the ball carrier and geeling did great job of panicing under that pressure and then also under percieved pressure. Lots of poor decision making and skills execution.

I think it is a set play and mid season it worked a few times.... selwwood/guthrie are nominated ruck and opposition don't realise and give free away (blocking them etc) or blitz goes 3rd up. I think opposition onto it now though and should be thrown out.

I t I think they are forced to jump early else the bigger bodied ruck men will block their run and beat them body on body. Jumping early they win some but also reduce opposition effective taps.
