Pretty bad form on news.com.au this morning regarding the 14 year old victim of an abduction/ assault during the week. The article stated that the victim was only known as his first name, but displayed a picture of him with his face and holding a certificate which showed his first and last name...

There's some irony in the fact that last week there was quite the deal made of him holding up the press conference to watch the Matildas shoot out. He was up to date with the results of another code last week, but 45 minutes after the game he apparently hadn't seen the goal which cost his team...

Those scenes from the MCG of people watching the Matlidas game on the screens are right in Gerard's wheelhouse- he loves that kind of stuff. I think it's $1.01 odds he asks for people to call in this morning to tell the story of where they watched it.

They love a good picture with a circle. Today I counted 12 articles on the main page with either a red or yellow circle in a picture- all unnecessary circles, but they've obviously decided/observed that circles in picture = more clicks.

Has anyone tried the SEN stadium app at the MCG for commentary without delay? Whenever I've tried it either doesn't connect at all, or connects then drops out every few minutes- probably depending on crowd size. I still bring my old-fashioned radio along to games despite all the promises of SEN...
