This is it. You look at a GWS or Carlton and you can see the structure and gameplan which is why they are so consistent.
Our scattergun fly by the seat of our pants offensive movement is a joke, ending in our bombing to a pack of 8 players which if someone doesn't take a ripping contested mark...
How does Bevo keep this forward line synergy going next week with Jamarra to come back... Does Naughton need to be the gorilla deep forward and Jamarra pushing up the ground?
Jamarra has never looked better with his current lead patterns and work in the F50, surely we don't change that up.
He's been struggling for a while, never been great with tap work, but that Essendon game stood out because he got rinsed by a 50 year old Todd Goldstein.
Possibly, last week was an all round shitshow though, so hard to get a read on his performance in particular.
I'm guessing you're worried about Supercoach?
Dogs? We're a million miles off this discussion.
We barely have a ruckman now, Macrae is no certainty to line up, Bont, Libba and Treloar have to play out of their skin for us to have any chance. Most weeks we get beaten in there, clearances down.
If we had a ruckman that could give us first...
Cant remember feeling as flat going into a game as I am atm.
A loss is expected, the pressure on Bevo will increase but, of course go nowhere. He's like Leo in Wolf of Wall Street "I'm not leaving".
A win will just paper over the cracks for another week.
Not a chance Bris are in this discussion. I haven't seen the Dees play as badly as that in a long time.
You got them on a good week. I'd much rather come up against Brisbane's midfield than Melbourne's.
Surely we re-negotiate the contract with him if we are looking to keep him. If the rumoured 4 or 5 year deal for 1M a year happens then we are in a really bad spot.
For a bloke in a contract year he's playing like he secured the bag last year, very strange.
Don't be so sure, when we played the Saints last year we got thumped, our total score was 5.11 41.
We always struggle to score against Ross Lyon coached sides. A lot would have to go right tomorrow night, I'll be very surprised if we can withstand the contested pressure they will throw our way.
