Aurrichio realises American Dream with Blues

The Northern Blues Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of American AFL hopeful, Alex Aurrichio.

Aurrichio joins the Blues after almost a month of training with other VFL clubs before settling on calling Preston City Oval home earlier this morning.

Training with the Blues for the past week, Aurrichio met with coach Luke Webster and GM Garry O’Sullivan, who said he was delighted to have the club provide a pathway for Aurrichio’s ambitions.

“It’s been an interesting process, but at least he now knows that after all his hard work and desire to get a foot in the door somewhere, he now has a place at the Northern Blues,” O’Sullivan said.
