AFL Player #40: Tex Wanganeen - Running and kicking drills at training - 23/3

Talent wise is he ahead of Davey?
  2. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player #28: Xavier Duursma 🏹

The beauty is he runs all day but also has a quick turn of foot so can close down players fast, he doesn’t just run at the same steady pace all day.

AFL Player # 3: Darcy Parish

I’m trying to work out how they ended up drawing with us. It certainly wasn’t their midfield. Daicos is a jet, I think he’s better off half back though…

    AFL Player #35: Matt Guelfi - Out for <insert weeks> with a calf strain - 18/3

Has sired plenty from all reports, just none that he’s aware of…

    AFL Player #35: Matt Guelfi - Out for <insert weeks> with a calf strain - 18/3

No he hasn’t, he did come 3rd though which is what I stated in my post.

    AFL Player #35: Matt Guelfi - Out for <insert weeks> with a calf strain - 18/3

Not a fan of the 26 year old 3rd best and fairest winner of a couple of years ago?

    AFL Player #35: Matt Guelfi - Out for <insert weeks> with a calf strain - 18/3

The forgotten man. Guelfi in for Davey as soon as possible.

Coach Men's Senior Coach: Brad Scott

Coaches voted for the sub. The sooner it is gone the better. 4 on the bench, 5 on the bench whatever, just remove the sub completely.
  9. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player #28: Xavier Duursma 🏹

Defensive work being severely underrated in my humble.
  10. MarkJohnson#1

    AFL Player #15: Jayden Laverde

Could have worse backup defenders. Makes way for Reid and/or Ridley if they ever recover…
  11. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player # 1: Andrew "Pidge" McGrath (Vice-Captain)

It has taken a few years but he appears to have taken the mantle. Finally got to that level of confidence/maturity required at AFL level and is on the cusp of A grade status.
  12. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player # 2: Sam Draper

I was sceptical playing Wright and two rucks but I was wrong, must keep this formation going forward.
  13. MarkJohnson#1

    AFL Player #19: Nick Hind

Should be getting a game ahead of Davey. I’ll forgive the slip, just one of those things…
  14. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player # 3: Darcy Parish

Better game from Parish. Are Collingwood one of the weaker midfields in the competition?
  15. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player #32: Ben "Buckets" McKay - Worth every penny

Harshly judged yet again IMO. Few dodgy decisions went against him and beyond that I thought he held his own. Did he even play on Mihocek?

Recruiting AFL Trade & Free Agency XII - 💰💰💰

LDU a genuine no brainer if we can land him as a FA. Precisely what we need in the midfield. Key defender stocks are good, no concerns there. A more mature small forward would be nice but you are taking an LDU first every day of the week. I would seriously look at Francis Evans from Port. Is...

AFL Player #33: Alwyn Davey Jr - Lindsay Griffith Rising Star

Have a spell in the twos young chap
  18. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player # 8: Ben "Goblin" Hobbs

Setterfield is a better midfielder than Perkins (who is a forward IMO).
  19. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player # 9: Dylan Shiel

Shiel in for Parish when fit.
  20. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player # 3: Darcy Parish

Geez you’d hope not. I’d love to see Hobbs given the licence Parish is given in the midfield. Would have a far greater impact on the game.

AFL Player # 3: Darcy Parish

Stats are misleading at the best of times. His work around the contest is shocking. His opponents generally have a field day on him and he doesn’t hurt them anywhere near as much the other way. He’s a mediocre footballer trying to play a selfish match winning role and he’s not cut out for it.
  22. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player #29: Jake "Bull" Kelly 🐂

McGrath - Reid - Martin Ridley - McKay - Redman Heppell or Kelly as the 7th defender?
  23. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player #11: Jade Gresham - An astute pickup

Loving the Gresh Prince so far, his intensity and forward craft has added another dimension to our forward line.
  24. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player # 7: Indefatigable Zach Merrett (c) - Your ANZAC Day Medallist - 25/4

Top 3 in the Brownlow is on the cards for Zerrett, elite in just about all facets of the game.
  25. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player # 4: Kyle Langford - AA squad, Leading Goalkicker, McKracken Medal, 2nd in Crichton 🥈

Not his greatest game but he still kicked 2 so can’t complain.
  26. MarkJohnson#1

    AFL Player #31: Zach Reid - Hamstring - 4 to 6 weeks - 19/3

Jizzworthy combination down back when those two pair up with Buckets.
  27. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player # 6: Jye Caldwell

The other half of the bash brothers alongside Duz. Hard as nails and does the dirty work that make sides tough to beat. His pressure and defensive work is immense. Should be top 3-4 in CBA rotations from here onwards.
  28. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player #22: Sam Durham - Pendlebury confesses to soiling himself - 26/5

Amazing attack on the pill by this bull. Could be one of the hardest players in the comp. Love his blue collar work and alongside Caldwell form the bash brothers in our midfield. Should be top 3 in CBA’s from here onwards.
  29. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player #23: Harrison Jones - God-tier Hands

Most improved player, actually has a presence now.
  30. MarkJohnson#1

AFL Player #32: Ben "Buckets" McKay - Worth every penny

Superb acquisition, can tell he loves playing for the red and black. Watching Zerk-Thatcher today it’s such a huge upgrade, we wouldn’t be 4-2 without him.
