Said it before and I’ll say it again. 4 different umpires means 4 different interpretations. We’ll never get consistency in umpiring. And with Freo being an afterthought in this competition, we invariably get the work experience umpires which makes it worse.

We were the designated home team, yet everyone in the media were talking about the ‘Carlton V Freo’ match. It’s a small thing, but speaks volumes to me about our place in this heavily compromised ‘national’ competition.
