What? My post was tongue in cheek at the stupidity of the assertion that ethnic groups taking up any sports somehow leads to a decline in participation from 'traditional demographics'. You've actually proved my point. How would participation in any sport be different?

I never claimed it didn't. Most sports in Australia have a mix of ethnicities including the rugby codes that's part of our multicultural society. Should we attribute the different ethnic backgrounds to the decline in AUstralian Footballs health in Queensland?
