We weren't that bad. At least we finished 13th with them in the team and 8 wins. Mitchell 5th and JOM 7th in B&F. Overall, the team showed a lot of promising signs with a good blend of youth and experience. Next year is not going to be pretty.

Plus they were under contract too and we have salary cap space.

Collingwood gave Mitchell 3 years and Freo gave JOM 4 years. I'd expect them to have at least that much good footy left in them and they were both pretty good this year. These are top tier players we gave away for untried WAFL, VFL players and peanuts.
