Can anyone explain what happened to the scores in the Swans/Bulldogs game?? Parker was on 107 with less than 10 minutes to go and Macrae's score slowly trickled down to 98 after not doing anything for half a quarter. Then Bont kicked a sealer and all the scores flipped - Parker finished on 86...
That's one of the key goals in fantasy competitions, to replace your initial team with a full team of guns. It simply means you can trade out rookies for cheaper players, after 5-10 weeks or so, and use the profit to upgrade other players to guns.
It's only the initial team that must be within...
I had it in my mind that he was injured... I had him nearly all of last year, got him the first round he played. Was an enjoyable roller-coaster!
If he's fit I reckon he's a pretty good option.
Pretty classic guns and rookies team, but I fear the rookie options are a bit bleak this year, and as a result, you might need to look for more value in your starting premiums. 9 starting rooks is a lot.
Apologies if discussed previously, but Dahlhaus looks to be a pretty good forward option. Priced at $418k and previous season averages of 91.7, 104.5, 95.7, and 90.7 from 2014 to 2017. Only in 6% of teams.
Gee it's annoying when people claim Grundy and Gawn is the only possible starting ruck combination, and that you're an idiot/not taking it seriously/etc. if you don't pick them. Does my head in. Same with those saying Danger/Macrae are M U S T starts.
The initial team is all about optimising...
This is my favourite thread. I feel so at home. My team as of yesterday had 11 juicy mid pricers.
I wish rookies in supercoach were priced higher to encourage coaches to pick mid pricers in their teams for cash generation. Would open up loads more players for selection, and I'd find it really...
So many hyped up players scored well, I imagine this is why the "par" score is surprisingly high this week. It will be interesting to see how these players go over the coming weeks, and how these initially high flying teams fare.
