I'm getting sick of this kicking long in hope of a contested mark. I don't think we spotted up a target once in our forward 50, it was just constantly bombing it long and hoping. Is it too much to ask to see an Essendon player take a mark on a lead in our forward 50?

Do players get prior opportunity if they play on after taking a mark? I didn't think it applied in that situation. The umpire tonight said Milne had to have prior opportunity to get rid of it after Hunt tackled him when he played on from a mark. Thought it was a sure free kick to Hunt.

Good to see the players actually kicking the ball tonight and look what happened - we won! I hope we never see that ridiculous handball happy gameplan ever again!!
