Any ideas for a new username?

I want to get rid of Blues2001 because it is boring, it's in the past and I hate it. I tried to register under B2K2 (as in a nifty way of saying Blues2002) but that isn't working at the moment for some unknown reason (perhaps because our 2002 season isn't working?) Can anyone suggest a...

    worst backline in footy

Maybe not......but you sure have a good knack of trying to underline every deficiency that you perceive us to have.

    I am very concerned...

Better now thanks. Your first post was very ordinary though......Lappin will be **** for you guys this year, Whitnall is just fat etc. - not good. I'll give you a second chance now that you've showed that you are serious and not just trolling.

    I am very concerned...

I'm all for opposition supporters giving their views on our board but when are we going to get some quality analysis out of them? Thrawn, I wouldn't bother replying to Neoblaze again. Another (yes ANOTHER!) troll.

    New Season, Different Carlton

We are last....even though we have clearly lost by less in total than the Hawks have....we are last....:(

    worst backline in footy

I don't think georgee is a Carlton supporter. Tashi, do you do anything, either here or on the blue view, but bag Carlton? You are obsessed. I dunno if our defence is the worst.......could be.....though a slip from being the best defence last year (statistically) to the worst his year is a...

    gloat gloat gloat

Re: gloating can be fun Er....Porter didn't have a choice. Anyway, I wish Mark Porter all the best, he is a good player and you can't help but admire the way he plays the game. However, I watched the Port v Kangas game and I don't get what all the bragging is about. Sure, he didn't play a...

    Carlton Vs Sydney

I don't think that we will lose by as much as 45 points. However, I have no feelings of confidence about my team either. We look rusty, slow and our disposal shocking. The swans had more of the general play against the Lions but lacked that killer edge. You looked a lot better than us though...

    I am very concerned...

I don't really agree with much of that. Our midfield is what is in havoc at the moment. They haven't won all pre-season or in the first round. Our defence I thought did really well and didn't allow hardly any contested marks to be taken in St Kilda's forward 50. Our forward line will get better...

Herald Sun writers think we are très ordinaire

In the Hun's guide on Saturday 5 out of 14 'experts' picked us to make the 8. I thought that was an extraordinarily low number when you think about it. Our odds to make the 8 were listed as $1.45, which means that (taking into account betting deductions) we have about a 65% chance of making the...

    Memberships.

I have absolutely no complaint at all. I sent away for my social club membership (which adds on to my AFL club support package) and I had it within 10 days (sent away about a month ago) - pleasantly surprised. I wonder what the deal is with you guys?

    Carlton vs. Hawthorn Match Report

I don't have a problem in you saying we were bad - go right ahead (not that you need encouragement from me ;)) "Dead set hack" is not constructive criticism though Brett. Two of the players you singled out have hardly played senior footy and are naturally going to look lost at the top level. It...

    Carlton vs. Hawthorn Match Report

Perhaps but you made up for it with close to slanderous statements about others. Appraisals such as "dead set hack" when he only played 5 minutes on the ground and "Pickering is a log", "Softest game by any player"? I think you need to tone down a bit there, I mean it is a match report, not the...

What is Carlton's more impressive achievement?

Yep, I think you are right there. I do believe that the crows have played at Optus every single year in their existence....and this year the trend will continue:p But Jars, don't you think trading Ben Nelson is equally as impressive?;)

What is Carlton's more impressive achievement?

I am more proud of the flags, but I think as a statistic, avoiding a wooden spoon is more amazing.

How do you view the McKernan trade now?

According to today's Age - Corey, Lance and Hicky are all 1 week away. Not too bad I guess, at least it gets them off that dreaded 1-2 weeks prognosis that they've been listed as for....well...about 4 weeks now ;)

What is Carlton's more impressive achievement?

Very good question. Our philosophy of not rebuilding means that perhaps we do fear losing quite a bit. Also, the fact that we are flooding so much (even in pre-season games) means that maybe we are scared to lose by big margins and embarrass ourselves? Just a hunch perhaps. The thing is, I...

People forget how much we miss Secco!

And maybe you are being hasty writing him off due to his sub par performance in Brissy - the pressure of playing in front of your good self no doubt got to him!;) Seriously though, we can't expect miracles from Ian just yet. I am very confident that he will become an excellent key position...

Praccy Match vs Hawthorn at OO

    Brisbane v Carlton review

Well done ODN. Doesn't sound too bad or too good either. I can't wait for round 1 to come around just so I can get a real feeler for how we are travelling, because with the sides we have put on the park so far it is impossible to make an informed prediction about 2002.

    Brownlow

Interesting none of you reckon Allan can make our top 3. I think he's a good show - in 99 he demonstrated he could poll well, in 2000 and 2001 injuries cut him down so all he needs is an injury free year.....touch wood!

    Brownlow

    IMO: 1. Allan 2. Campo 3. Hickmott
