Just an off the topic question, Colin. Why do Ireland insist (as least I presume they are doing the insisting) that they are known as the "Republic of Ireland" rather than just Ireland. So much so that when you look up their name in a list of countries they often come under 'R'. Seems damn...
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: It has to be said.
Really? That surprises me. Whenever I see those lists of "Europe's Richest clubs" in magazines like 4-4-2 Newcastle are always VERY high up - above Leeds, Chelsea and even Arsenal sometimes.
Judging by his post surely GB meant to say midfielders?
Anyway, RVN scored a ripper a few weeks ago, just forgotten who it was against. It was the one he scored in the first minute of the game.
I must say that Celtic have been leaving it very late for the matches they have played in the past month or two. Often they have been behind all the way till the 80th minute and got out of jail and won games.
Completely disagree with all of the above (except that you are right, it is NOT a hanging offence, because nothing is). Carragher is just as bad as the guy who threw the coin at him when you think about it. It is one of the more stupid things done by a EPL player since Cantona's kick. He didn't...

Ireland at last have an easier group. England cant be too unhappy, though the trip to Turkey will be....*cough cough*....interesting.
Despite the roughness (which isn't as bad as you so biasedly put it - better than Arsenal in my opinion), I believe we play far more attractive football than counter attacking, sitting back, defensive Liverpool.
