Grand Slam US Open 2022 (29 Aug-11 Sept)

A bit of history in the making. The world men’s number 1 is playing in Grand Slam, and barely gets a half a dozen tiny claps when he wins a point. The most silent I’ve ever seen a crowd for a player of such ranking. At least they’re not booing him. Yet

    Grand Slam Wimbledon

How did the commentator know that ball was in?

    Grand Slam Wimbledon

Nick just went all Hulk on him

    Grand Slam Wimbledon

I wonder if Nick has grown up a bit and is taking this seriously? Haven’t seen any outbursts or poor behaviour….. ….yet

    Grand Slam Wimbledon

If he keeps it up and doesn’t make errors it’ll be hard to see how Nick can be broken on serve Novak will have to hope for tiebreaks, and even then Nick’s serves will be hard to break

    Grand Slam Wimbledon

Rybakina was born in Moscow, raised in Moscow, lived 19 out of her 23 years as a Russian citizen with no links to any other nation, has never lived anywhere in Kazakhstan, has no family or links to Kazakhstan and only changed nationality because the Kazakh Tennis Federation bribed her (offered...

    ATP Nick Kyrgios

Depends A charge of common adult can carry a jail sentence but usually not. I’d say a fine, a good behaviour bond, some form of counselling or community service. If it was a bit more serious (a push down the stairs) perhaps a suspended sentence?

    Grand Slam Wimbledon

Has Novak ever worn a hat before?

    Grand Slam Wimbledon

Good to see an enthusiastic young player act like a mature adult and not sook around the court acting like a tool. With luck Sinner can meet Sookios in the final and give him a hiding, lord knows he needs it

    ATP Nick Kyrgios

Zverev never had any charges pressed against him relating to that incident, Kyrgios just has.

    ATP Nick Kyrgios

Given Wimbledon removed Russian and Belorussian players for nothing more than their nationality I can’t see how they can allow Kyrgios to remain. Likely he gets through to the semi, then 40%? chance perhaps he gets over Rafa to the final. Then Wimbledon bosses face the prospect of having Kate...

    Grand Slam Wimbledon

Then it’s Rafa in the semis. First time they met in Wimbledon was 2014……. …..and Nick won…… There haven’t been any boilovers and he took Rafa to multiple tie breaks on the last two slam matches he played against him. Having said that this Nakashima fella is pretty average, hitting balls all...

If it goes to a tiebreak - Med has it.

Grand Slam Australian Open - Day 14 Nadal v Medvedev

Yeah not the way Rafa's hitting

Grand Slam Australian Open - Day 14 Nadal v Medvedev

Looks like if Rafa can't come up with the goods at Roland Garros this year he'll finish with 20. So will Roger, so when Novak comes out of his self reflection period and realises the lure of being the GOAT is more desirable than not being jabbed then he'll be probably on equal terms with...

They booed when Hrdlicka mentioned the vaccine too

Grand Slam Australian Open - Mens Final

Indications were it was an anti-vaxxer. So nothing sensible could’ve come out of their mouth anyway.
