APS Football Scholarships?

Yes, Hailebery are the perfect example. The majority of their team are probably on scholarships, if not all thier good players are (the 6 Vic-Metro Players: Lynch, Vickery, Scully, Martin, Smitth and Nicolopolous)

Thanks for the reply.
Is Haileybury the only school to offer football scholarships, or does this system operate throughout the APS?
Also, is it possible for a youngster [or their parents] to "shop-around" for the best scholarship offers from different schools?

APS Scholarship prime example look at hailebury, they dont win flags they buy them by scholarshipping all their good players, and this neglects the chance for anyone who is have decent to aspire to play 1sts footy as their spot would be taken up by a scholarship boy who comes for 1 or 2 years and knows nothing about the pride of the jumper and plays for himself

most aps schools offer schlorships, but a lot have differing intentions in who they choose.. like haileybury and skevs focus within melbourne and scotch and mgs focus on indigenous players, whilst say cgs focus on country players.

and it also is possible to players and parents to shop around if they have a number of offers... jack ziebell was offered at both mgs and cgs i believe... but chose cgs
