Geelong to good for gallant Lions

The Geelong Cats were to good in the end to defeat of a gallant Brisbane Lions team at Skilled Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Lions came out with a bang in the 1st quarter botting on 6 goals to 4 in the 1st quarter, but the Cats wouldnt lay down. The Lions were still ahead by half time with the score line showing, 9.4 to 7.4 Brisbane's way, and yet the Cats still didnt let the Lions get too far ahead.
The 3rd quarter came and the Cats started to kick top gear, 4 goals to full forward Kent Kingley in the 3rd quater got the Cats alight as they stormed to a 2 goal lead at 3 quarter time. The 4th quarter and the Lions didnt even look like they were out there, the Cats banged on 6.3 to the Lions 1.2 to stormed right over the Lions and win by 40 points in front of a very good crowd of 30+ thousand people.
Kent Kingsley was the main contributor with 6 goals, as we said 4 in the 3rd term to kick start the Cats, while forward Paul Chapman chipped in with 4 goals of his own.
Whilst in the Midfield, Cameron Ling was the main midfielder for both sides racking up 27 possesions.
While for the sorrow and sore Lions team Tim Notting was good through the midfield with 24 possesions and 1st gamer Mitchell Clark kicked 3 goals with Luke Power also kicking 3

Well he isn't that bad...was our leading goal scorer for a few years in a row before this year and kicked 50+ a couple of times. Just had a bad year probably because of things going on behind the scenes involving him.
