Rumour has it that scouts are closely looking at him to play in the AFL next year - and he is playing SOCCER for his school! This would be an amazing story, in the Herald Sun etc for sure.
Apparently the West Coast Eagles have been sniffing around (pardon the pun) for his services, but if a guy gets drafted from not even playing footy the year before, it would be amazing.
He is a Greek under 16 representative in soccer, but he also played the AFL Under 18 World Cup a few weeks ago and snagged four goals in the grand final, as Greece were trumped in the dying seconds by a 55m bomb from Samoa's Tiwana Cucu.
Apparently is very dedicated to his sports and spends a bit of time practising so hopefully he makes it. Maybe here at BF - we could raise some money and give it to him for his career?
