One of my heroes and made me want to be a wicketkeeper.
Centenary Test he came down to Punt Rd on the rest day and got some photos done with Lillee.

RIP

Marsh went into stumps on the previous day of play 95 not-out and had an interesting way of spending the ‘rest day’ with legendary fast bowler Dennis Lillee before bringing up his century.

“I was 95 not-out before the rest day,” he said.

“On the rest day, Dennis and I went down and kicked a footy with Kevin Sheedy and Barry Richardson for about two hours. I could barely move, it was ridiculous. Imagine doing that now.

“And we were trying to spoil each other and Dennis was trying to ride on my back.”
