Footscray had a lot of AFL listed players out there so I'm proud of the effort. Our skills were nowhere near good enough but we kept fighting and almost pinched a draw through sheer will alone. Max Hall and Callum Brown played great games.

Serong was our BOG. His kicking skills stood out when everyone was butchering it. Has a good mix of offensive and defensive craft.
Phillips is a wall when the ball is in the air, taking many intercepts. Looks nervous when it hits the ground.
BMac is getting back to his best, using his pace offensively but also to close down his opponent.
Reeves may not do much around the ground but that silver service is something to behold. Gives our midfield first use 80% of the time.
Ramsden well beaten by Gardner.
Tucker has good ruck craft but is invisible as a forward, and not strong enough to ruck solo.
Bennetts links up really well. Very crafty.
Down day for Sully, turned it over too much.
Ryan was great with his efforts but uncharacteristically butchered it by foot.
Chad hit the scoreboard but fairly quiet. Only played 3 quarters.
Hustwaite was having a good battle with Sanders but didn't play after HT.
