Dissapointing to see him go from a football fan's view. Chelsea if they play their cards right should be looking at a top 3 finish this coming season if the Russian mafia chap helps out. They're supposedly interested in Kewell and Locomotive Mills.

I thought he might of stuck around for the chance of playing champions League this season. If you look back at his interview at the end of last season after getting 4th spot, he seems to of made his mind up then just about.

Great player and now he can enjoy his retirement in Serie B.
