Match play by Feb. Lol Serpell should be out of a job. He's butchered this kid and a number of others. Constant reoccuring soft tissue injuries to the same body parts for all our young players. At some point we need to stop excusing it's just bad luck when it continues for such a long period... -

People will keep defending serpent weirdly but the proof is in the pudding. I have next to no faith he can get any of these young kids out on the park consistently. They'll all broken down constantly under his training methods. -

I doubt Burton just went "I'm leaving for Essendon" and that was it. You'd think his manager would go to the club and talk through it given he was already at the club. They would've already had a good look at him at training so would know if he's a can't lose prospect. I am just guessing... -

Wing is a quite demanding position at AFL level with all the defensive running they have to do. I'll be surprised see Grlj starting there initially from game 1. Retschko seems a good bet given we still lack wing options and his extra preseason. -
