Crows and West Coast basically had the right to take ANY player out of the local leagues for 2 or 3 years after their admission, they were allowed to grab them before any other club could even get a look in. I'm pretty sure thats how they got McLeod, Rehn etc. Not a bad result.- Words: 56

Excuses excuses... What you REALLY saw was a top 4 side juuuust having to go up a gear in the 2nd half to put away a middle of the road side. Port did just enough, that's what good sides do. Mediocre sides like the cows make excuses. Take away the 4 freebie goals the umpires gave the cows in... -
