    With the current stand rule, there is no reason to go back over the mark. (Maybe inside defensive 50 only) Otherwise, as soon as you hear the umpire call stand, just wheel around and play on. There is nothing that can be done about it, and you put pressure on defenders.

    That explains why it's Port and and not the Crows, but why is he NGA eligible anyway? Why would NGA eligibility be a thing for a kid whose dad played AFL and has come through the SANFL juniors system? Does being indigenous qualify you for NGA?

    That's not the point. The point is, if coloured people represent 30% of the population, but the DEI stipulates a 50% hire rate, it's reasonable to think that some of those hired are less qualified and experienced than the best in the 70%
