    backing up dvds

    DVD shrink is the only way to go... remember that you usualy have to compress to make the original (dual layer) fit onto a single layer disk... unless you pay more $$ for dual layer blanks..

    they don't always do everything: I got a sony universal remote which doesn't change stations on my sony tv... figure that! (I can go up and down, but pressing the numbers doesn't jump to a station)

    I've never realy been a fan of torrents, I find they're only realy good when the torrent is popular. Other times, they can be slow as. Try limewire (be ware of the adware though)
