    Recommitted Dustin Martin [UFA 2024]

Your missing the point. We're talking about his trade value. Based on his salary, it's a massive punt to trade for someone who's been below his best for 2 seasons, regardless of whether that's been due to injury. I hate the idea that Melbourne are after Grundy, even if the Pies pay part of his...

Traded Toby Bedford [Traded to GWS for #44]

Overrated by many Dees supporters. Shows glimpses of X factor, but basic skills like kicking and ball winning are lacking. His major strength is defensive pressure. I can understand why other clubs may be interested, and a pick in the 40 range is fair.

Adrian Dodoro: Football’s Biggest Fraud IMO

Josh Mahoney will be the next to go as he and Dodo don't see eye to eye.

Autopsy AFL 2022 Second Qualifying Final - Demons v Swans Fri Sept 2nd 7:50pm EST (MCG)

If Melbourne bomb the ball long to their tall forwards, The McCartin brothers will have a field day, and the Swans will win. If Melbourne lower their eyes and hit up leading targets as they did against the Lions, I'm confident we'll win.

Recommitted Kysaiah 'Kozi' Pickett [OOC 2023]

Firstly, the Jackson deal will get done. Secondly, there's no chance in hell we're trading Pickett for a pick 13-20 + a future 2nd rounder. Pickett is worth more on the open market than Cerra, considering he's under contract. Even if you could find a top 5 pick we wouldn't do it.

As if a club would sign 6 players to long term deals, which are tied to a % of the TPP. It's unmanageable. Players may have clauses where they receive bonuses based on AA or position in the BnF. I've never heard of an AFL player earning a % of TPP.

People need to understand that the salary cap goes up every year. Signing players to long term deals now at less than market rate, actually assists the club with it's TPP in the long term.

    North Melbourne Priority Pick 2021

At Melbourne he was probably the highest paid coach in VFL/AFL history. Walks into the club and tells everyone how sh#t we are, so don't expect many wins. Walks away after 3 years without making finals. And in his last 2 games, we lost to Carlton who had lost 9 or 10 in a row, and then Geelong...

    North Melbourne Priority Pick 2021

I don't think North's list is as bad as their results are saying. The way they finished the 2021 season, they should be winning 8-10 games this year. They have a core of young talented players who collectively have regressed this year. David Noble clearly has to go ASAP. Leigh Montagna made a...

Recommitted Clayton Oliver [re-signed until 2030]

We haven't made the mistake of signing a Grundy for over $1m pa for the rest of his career. The recent dialogue out of the club suggests that we'll go down the path of the Hawthorn dynasty, and no one will get paid more than Petracca, Gawn and Oliver. If Jackson's management are after a $1m+...

Traded Luke Jackson [Traded with #44 and #67 to Fremantle for #13, F1 and F2]

Fk Jackson. The best player in the comp just re-signed for life. Oliver is way more important to us than Jackson.

Autopsy AFL 2022 Round 10 - Hawks v Lions Sun May 22nd 3:20pm EST (University of Tasmania)

If Newcombe wasn't pinged for holding the ball, then he should have got a free for around the neck. Cameron had him in a headlock with the 2nd tackle. But that stage the umps had lost control.
  13. D

Recommitted Andrew McGrath [signed til 2024]

When the opposition start tagging a player, you know he's rated. Simpkin has been tagged often, whilst McGrath will never be tagged in his career. And every club would take Ryan over McGrath.

Recommitted Angus Brayshaw [signs til 2028]

The argument that he would leave because he wants to play inside mid is the most nonsensical. Firstly, if another club gives him that guarantee then they are amateurs. How long did Carlton persist with Zac Williams as an on-baller? Gus is playing career best football at half back, and Goodwin...
