No doubt other clubs were circling but the fact that neither club nor player let it devolve into a circus is a credit to both.
Best run club in the league.
Edit: Still remember Brownless being a dick to him post-2022. Getting him a flag all the more deserved now.
Came in to say this.
Much has been said about his utility but part of that is a severely underappreciated left foot.
He regularly boots 60m on his left (as his highlight video showcases) both to send it into 50 as well as a goal or two.
He was also the reason why the "3rd man up" rule was put...
Prob some frustatration with the poor Q2 and Hawthorn forwards being gutless little grubs.
The final straw that causes the tussle was Ginnivan giving Kolo a push after the Chol goal. Just the backlne general flying the flag for his troops.

Our captain played through broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Yours falls to the ground following an innocuous man up.
Looking forward to seeing Round 19 where Collingwood play Port Adelaide in Adelaide.
I think the Pies only play 5 or 6 games outside of Vic (if you include gather round).
Need to keep reminding myself Ollie is still a work in progress, but he’s good for a goal or two a game which isn’t bad (equal leading goal kicker last night for us).
He’s just not an out-and-out game-breaker at the moment.
Someone else said it before but the kid really needs to learn to keep...
I agree that Francis has the prerogative to drop the ball if he felt he was in danger but there's plenty of incentive for him not to. He could draw a free kick from a dumping and dangerous tackle rather than get pinged for an obvious HTB. In fact, the Swans were playing for frees from tackles...
