I think you are defending Hurley a little to aggressively there. The posters he got were from tight angles so it is not as though he was unlucky to miss them. And the goal he did kick was on the end of some good play from Crameri (more the case of Crameri doing well than Hurley in that instance.
Don't know much about him at all. But I know someone from Sandy Dragons who is in the Vic Metro squad and I asked about Joe and was told that he can be a bit soft and that he doesn't like the physical stuff.

While I agree he should avoid trying to be the lead up option, sometimes we get caught out b/cos all of our players get sucked up into the press and we are left with no one forward, so someone has to present
