    Yeah they are full of it. This is like that ex partner who shacks up with someone like two week after the break up but claims that they had no communication about it prior. the process was too fast, like immediately Lyons name was being thrown out there.

    Covid helped Geelong make the Grand Final. That break and the shortened season helped them tremendously. And 2021 I doubt Geelong would have done any better against Melb at the MCG.

    While I agree with you to a certain extent, Sydney made a Grand Final and didn't lose anyone. Saints clearly have issues and didn't do anything to address said issues. I think Cordy wil be quite good though.

    Exactly. A lot of coaches don't even make a grand final, let alone consistently. That alone puts him up there. The bad record doesn't help of course, but it is still something.
