    Player Watch Luke Pedlar

He's got recent form (last 12 months) of showing up when his team mates hasn't - including in finals, and more recently in Brisbane when the majority of his team mates were left wanting. Going missing in key moments is not the issue. If anything I'd like to see him downhill ski a bit more

Preview R6: Changes vs. St Kilda

There's a bit of Jarryd Lyons about the Billy Dowling situation. Id love to see him given another go now that he's got the physique for AFL.

Review R5: The GB&U vs Carlton: ARC de Triomphe

Another tick in the box for our defence last night. They were really poor in the first quarter (not helped by the number of Carlton midfield clearances), but they took stock at 1/4 time and seriously turned things around. Another great indicator that they are a really mature, well drilled unit...

Review R1: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly vs. Collingwood

Your second sentence answers the first. 'Because our opponents are doing it' is not exactly a robust argument for how we should strategically use our top tier players. Surprised that you think that it is.

So we're aspiring to be more like the Western Bulldogs now?

Agree with your comments about Bond, but a bit harsh on Luke Brown. He was genuine, quality small defender.

Reckon they were just easing him in. The kid is super raw still

Good summary Stabby. I reckon with Turray though we need to hold judgement. The premise of his role is good, and tonight I don't think was a good representation of what he can do in it. Dude looked super nervous, and played like it.

    Roast AFL PR Virtual Signalling

I love that Izak attending this has been done under radar, with little fanfare. The worst thing that the club (or Izak) could have done would have been to put it up on socials etc.. Suggests he was there for the right reasons (which his interview on the podcast certainly seemed to support also).
