I think the offseason cards have been moved for Mraz to get an opportunity this year. I don't think Battle, Barrass, Sicily and Scrimshaw will play every single game, and I think he's gone past Blank to be next in line (based on 2025 VFL Form in which Blank was first year back from nasty ACL, so...
No, but one of them is James Sicily.

tend to agree. Finns best tagging roles were on the running link up players who he not only had the running ability to by right in their pocket like they aren't used to, he also was taller and stronger than them so they he'd beat them for the ball or at least put them right under pressure...
I think it's more of things like, who's going to address the players in the huddle. Remember Hodge's infamous "I hope they come out and kick the first 4 goals, then we'll rise and show them speech." If he had a co-captain on equal footing they may say "don't say stupid stuff like that to them"...
Jaegar was better after his knee injury. He showed a lot of promise in his first 2 years and people thought he'd be one of the best in the comp, he never because the player they predicted. But by far played his best football at Hawthorn. 41 Brownlow votes of his 48 came at Hawthorn. 2 at Freo, 5...
Me too, he's probably last in line to debut from the group but I think eventually LeRay may be the cream of the crop.
Reminds me of watching Sicily draft highlights and knowing he'd be a star but would take time.
I think the tall rangy winger is the way of the future and he fits that...
Burgoyne I think Just had 1 year with injury in 2009. Still played 9 games, in 2010 after a broken jaw, he came back and played nearly every game for the next 12 years.
I think O'Meara despite never becoming the player thought he'd be, he did overcome a very tough stretch with nearly 2 seasons...
While it is heavily exposed up on the hill with not much around to break the wind. The last few weeks have been particularly windy here in Dingley so I wouldn't expect it to be an issue at every session.
School finishes 3:20. Might have to pick up daughter from school and head there and miss half the 1st quarter.. Hopefully adequate parking onsite unlike open training day.
Yes, it's worth remembering that currently we can expect Weddle, Lewis, Dear, Scrimshaw, Nash and Day also to play more football in 2026 than they did in 2025.
Then we have Morrison, Finn and Mackenzie who all missed games from injury while in the team. Mackenzie didn't earn his spot back but...
Has he? he kicked a few goals against North once. But I don't think he's really shut down a rebounder. If he could do a role on guys like Rozee, Ash, Bailey Dale, John Noble then we'd be good. But we've really struggled to contain these guys.
We have a good group of the new modern high half...
About what I expected. But already started the weird timeline talk like last year with his foot.
If it's a 4 month recovery as stated by the club he's back round 11.
Josh Gablish on AFL.com.au stated
So you mean he'd be back AFTER the buy as you can't play when the side has a bye, Rd 15 vs...
I tend to agree, build strength in the weight room with controlled movements. Pre-season run and kick the ball, practice ball movement and defensive structure and a bit of competitive drills and match sim. Boxing, wrestling and other risky things should be out.
I also didn't like Newcombe's...
