    In WA, only 1 of the colts roles was f/t in 2009...East Fremantle have appointed Steve Malaxos and that number will double in 2010. These f/t roles are really 'dual funded' - not commission funded - and generally is expanded to encompass the coaching role with the u16's as well as co-ordination...

    They (and the assistants) are footy vic employees. It is probably about 30 hours per week work for 10 months of the year - given that they dont get a lot. It isn't voluntary though.

    Couple of quick ones. McFarlane played very well - midfield early (wing) and then went and locked down on Broome. Very good kicking skills (kicked an amazing goal in the 2nd semi) and good leg speed. Any comments about rookie drafts etc will have to wait until 2010 though - he is too young...
