Game Day Port Power vs Adelaide Crows

Desperately missing sloane in the contest here , I don't want to blame the kids although galluici and pohoke have only had 9touches between them. Sloane and Brouch on the park instead would make a pretty big difference with clearances and tackles.

    Toast Richard 'Hollywood' Douglas

This would make sense , keeping with the 1yr only for players over 30. If he falls of a cliff he could be a list clogger on a longer deal. I imagine he could be a good shout to eventually captain the sanfl side and help coach the younger fellas as Scott Thompson did and be a break glass in case...

    Toast Richard 'Hollywood' Douglas

My concern with Douglas is that historically he is a bit of a flat track bully and goes missing in big games. If you asked me 1 or 2 years ago I would certainly not want his contract renewed at the end of this year. However , the added grunt (greenwood , CEY, Gibbs) to our inside midfield...

    Review GBU v Carlton

The good *McModra - He had an opportunity to play a more central role in our fwd line with Tex out and he took it with both hands. 5snags, thanks for coming! *Greenwood - Keeps building, what a contested ball animal. Creative by hand. Tackles with serious intensity. The Bad *2nd qtr fade...

    CEY

Sloane is usually our #1 player for tackles. However , I really like Greenwood's tackling technique, he really throws himself at players with serious intensity with those long arms and drags then down. CEY is more of an in close brute strength type. I agree with above posts , our inside midfield...

    Preview Changes: R7 v Carlton

Let's not get too carried away about Knight being managed with the amount of injuries we have had this year. We don't know how his body is holding up. It's probably a good game to manage him for as we don't really need an enforcer against Carlton.

Preview Changes: R6 v Gold Coast

People are being a little harsh re McGov. I don't think he deserves to be dropped. With many outside players out with injuries our fwd line would be too one dimentional with no gov and no Betts. Tex, Jenkins and Fog is a bit too top heavy. McGovern can work up the wings fairly quickly...

Toast The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly v Swans

The Good Greenwood - 11tackles , 6 clearances, 13 contested possessions. Seed and the Rat - they were everywhere , both used the ball very well. Doedee - 9 intercept possessions , 11 marks and 25 touches. Tex - 4 goals and stood up early to set the tone, also that mark late in defense was...

Prediction It's Time for Zippedy Doedee!!

As I live in Victoria I do not get to sanfl games. Many of my friends constantly brought up the Doedee selection last year whenever Burton was discussed. I imagine it's time for them and myself to eat a box of hats now. The kid is going to be a star. He seems very composed and his positioning is...

Game Day The "Watch It For The Kids" Special: Decimated Crows vs Sydney @ SCG

We have looked very hesitant with ball use the last couple of weeks. Backs against the wall and many players used the ball much better. Mindset counts for a lot.
