    The 6 day break didn't affect Old Scotch too much last year as they won the A grade grand final after playing the preliminary final on the Saturday and then the grand final on the following Friday.

    It was a remarkable finish to the game where Collegians were 4 goals down with about 23 minutes gone in the last quarter and then managed to kick the last 4 goals and won by 2 points.

    Tips for round 18 Old Brighton to defeat Old Xavs for the Donati Cup OMs to avoid relegation by defeating Caulfield Collegians to defeat Old Scotch – will Collegians rest players ? Uni Blues just over Uni Blacks SKOBs too strong for Old Haileybury and will send them back to B grade Good luck

    I'm not so sure De La have locked in a finals berth. Only a game and less than 4% above Old Geelong who play AJAX next week and De La have to play Fitzroy away. A win will certainly mean finals, but a loss and it will come down to percentage against Old Geelong who you assume will defeat AJAX.

    Agree Over The Post, a great comeback by St Bedes in the last quarter made it a thrilling finish in front of a very good sized crowd. You certainly had a tough job in the last quarter. It was VAFA footy at its best.

    Old Brighton too strong for Uni Blacks Old Scotch by plenty over Caulfield Uni Blues just over OMs, but no certainty Old Xavs to defeat Old Haileybury, but wouldn't surprise if it goes the other way SKOBs just over Collegians in a ripper of a game Good luck

    Why are AJAX and South Melbourne Districts using Oval 1 instead of their own grounds ? I noticed AJAX played at Oval 9 last Saturday but did play Monash Blues on oval 1 a couple of weeks ago.
