    Does anybody know why Nathan Grima was replaced? I thought he was one of our better players against Geelong, and played really well last week against Fremantle! Does anyone also know how Pratt, Hansen and Campbell went on the weekend in the VFL Reserves?

    If you had asked me a couple of years ago, I would not have been all that keen to re-sign Dean. But the way he has overseen the steady buliding of a potentially good list of youngsters, I think it would be a shame if he didn't get the chance to coach this group for a few more years.

    David is a quality guy. I felt sorry for him that he never made it at North. As stated above, he is playing in the SANFL for Norwood. He was named 'Player of the Finals Series' last year for Norwood.

    Club memberships as at today, for those clubs that keep a running total: Hawthorn 26,892 Melbourne 16,000 St. Kilda 14,708 West. Bulldogs 14,078 Richmond 12,155 North Melbourne 7,010 Let's hope ours picks up quickly, before the cynics start circling!

    Player BBQ

    I have contacted the club and have been told that this is not the normal Player's BBQ, usually held in early December. This is an 'Inner Sanctum' function for players, staff etc, plus some invitations. I am hopeful that the Player's BBQ will still be on in December.
