    Perhaps the design was based around the need for brand recognition. GC is the brand of the GC football club and this will be it's main selling point to potential sponsors and members.....they are based in GC and this is their only selling point.

    So what happens when they have a day game? Would the players be tired? I agree though that the players should prepare for a wet ball, but not necessarily the night conditions all the time as during the day it is warmer and therefore you gain a higher level of cardiovascular fitness.

    Absolutely right. Imagine how good the guernsey would look of it had a stylised traditional lion as opposed to a hybrid "new and old" lion. They bloody well should have just modernised the old and made it new. This guernsey cannot stand! We should protest until they bring back OUR Lion guernsey.
