    I understand what you mean now. So the real question we should be asking whenever we look to the future is not: What would our best 22 look like on paper on game day in 2016? but rather Which and how many players on our current list are more likely than not to be part of our 27...

    If we have more than six or seven new players in our best 22 come 2016, then we are effectively re-building the team. If we are not starting again then we should now have some idea what our best team in a few years time. Every year we say we don't know who our best 22 will be in a few years...

    Saw him play for the first time yesterday in the VFL - the guy with the long neck. Did not see much of the game but something about him feels right - the way he plays. Is he our hidden potential? Where would he fit as part of our structure?

    Atley's evasive skills would be a tremendous help in the middle. He could complete the midfield. It would mean one of Ziebell or Cunnington would spend more time forward.
