    I would say building a stadium in the city of North Melbourne would be both idiotic and pointless on a number of levels. Renovating a stadium in a large regional town would be more beneficial to the state of Victoria and Australia. Cheers for your money, mate.

    This is, quite possibly, the most pathetic/funniest/stupidest thing I've read all week. North must be running low on ideas if they're suggesting this would create a most "hostile" atmosphere. FFS, there's going to be more Essendon fans than North fans on Friday night.

    Agreed. Though, Brain Cook stated that the Gary Ablett terrace won't be re-developed for a while mainly due to funding and the level of long-term debt the Cats have at the moment. After they eventually get it done, it's rumored that the capacity will reach around 40-45,000.
