The Bulldogs were a special case. With the injuries they had during the season they should never have finished where they were and should have finished much higher. I even had them as one of my premiership favourites at the start of the season. If it wasn't for the bye they wouldn't have got the...
why is everyone putting St.Kilda in the top 8 for? I can't understand this logic and this is coming from a Saints fan. We're not going to improve that much if at all, especially with the likes of Bruce, Jack going out the side.
Pretty much agree with the top 8 aside from the Bulldogs being so high up and St.kilda making thing 8. We have no chance. Will be lucky to finish outside the bottom 4 again, especially since Bruce is leaving. North And Essendon will also finish higher than you have them by far. Geelong will...
If you didn't vote for Brisbane in this vote you have rocks in your head. Won 3 Grand Finals in a row against Melbourne clubs at the MCG and completely controlled the competition aside from Port for those years. Hawthorn are a close second but the 3 they won were against interstate competition...
hmm it's been pretty good but tbh they only beat a Bulldogs side, that although looked pretty good, were probably cooked by the time they actually got to playing the finals, Brisbane who were clearly pulling above their weight and a Collingwood side who almost finished 5th for a reason. Bulldogs...
lets not forget that Hawthorn won their finals from lower down in the top 4. Final places mean nothing. Imo as long as you finish in at least the top 3 then you can win the flag which Richmond has done (if they win it). The win % from there down drops dramatically.
Completely agree. if you can't see what this suspension was done on the basis of the week before and how he got given a chance you have rocks in your head. The truth is, if the AFL had the balls to suspend him in the first place then GWS probably wouldn't have have beaten Brisbane this week and...
Not sure about the games but does have to be up there with one of the worst rounds in the history of the 'AFL'. Can remember a few rounds a couple of years back when multiple clubs were getting smashed by over 100 points in the same round.
I laugh so much at the though that Richmond fans think they are biggest and best club in the country after about 2 years of success after being absolutely trash for almost the last 30 years.
Richmond and Collingwood.
Geelong no hope without Tom and I don't trust GWS at the G enough to pick them.
Would also be the more preferred Grand Final as well for contest.
The 70's and 80's consisted of a league that had only 12 teams. Of course you are going to get the same teams represented in the Finals and top of the ladder. Yes it is true that more teams are making the Grand Final, but this isn't a thread just about domination by a couple of teams completely...
