The point is though Cerra hasn’t yet shown his worth, he’s still got plenty of development (more than Dawson) hence he is valued higher.
What about Saad? IMO Carlton probably paid overs, but that was the pick they had and it was pretty clean. Im sure they would’ve liked to have paid less, they...
Is it that hard to understand how Cerra is valued higher than Dawson?
Cerra was pick 5, he has had 3 good seasons culminating in a 3rd place B&F. He plays inside mid which as everyone can see is where the most recent Premierships have been won.
Conversely Dawson was valued at pick 56 in his...
Bont is a great player but he’s actively throwing his head into the turf to win a free there. Seeing players do it more and more to draw dangerous tackle frees. Need to stamp it out with staging reports.
Well yeah, they are one of the “other” clubs, as are 16 others. All clubs are unable to retain players for one reason or another, Port included. You can dress the departures up anyway you like but it doesn’t change that fact.
Haha, nice re-writing of history. Why are you bringing Adelaide into it, this is a thread about Port?! I already know our player retention has been shithouse.
Wingard, Polec, Ryder, Impey, Howard...need I go on? This idea that your player retention rate is better than any other club is a media myth absolutely lapped up by Port fans.
The issue isn’t the decision. There’s no way you can confidently say it hit the post. If Jenkins had come out (like 99% of other players would have) and said he thought it was a goal then it gets a 1/4 as much coverage. The issue is the technology. If you want a proper score review system, the...
Not that I’m questioning the squiggle but it seems a bit broken when Richmond only better their predicted attack by 10 points but improve quite markedly whilst Adelaide better their predicted attack by 16 but don’t move.
I think this bit is wrong. The players not offside when you pass it, they only become offside when they receive the ball. Hence when Lovren tries to play it it’s a new phase of play. Kane never received the original pass from Dele Alli, therefore he can’t be offside.
Umm read page 20, it perfectly describes the situation which is not offside. How you can argue that Kane was interfering, deceiving or impeding Lovren’s clearance is just laughable. He’s running away from him and isn’t anywhere near him when he makes the clearance. You’re trying to excuse...
