    How do we rate voss's season?

    vossy might not be regarded as the number one midfielder at brisbane but he's still the most effective IMO. when he gets the ball 99% of the time he sets up play. can't say the same for the others. plus he plays about 75% of game time or less now.

    I used to bag trent but I thought he's been playing a little better lately. The midfield is the problem now, they're not getting enough of the ball and they're not doing enough with the ball they're getting.

    Does anybody know if Captain Cuz is carrying an injury this year??? He seems to have lost a touch of pace and seems to find it increasingly difficult to break away from contests this year in contrast to previous seasons. Injury or the first signs of age? I mean, he's played nearly 200 games...

    Give him a couple of weeks. Sometimes around this time, especially with feet they re-break them. I hope for the club and for him that it goes well.

    No doubt wirra's been a good player but we have to think whether he's past his best and whether we could get an emerging player for him (don't know who off hand). Wirra for gaspar doesn't make any sense, i'd rather keep wirra.

    Dropping mcdougall isn't going to solve the problem. We have to play him until we're satisfied either way. He solves the problem or he becomes the problem. At the moment he has potential. That's it. I agree his workrate was MUCH better on the weekend. BUT he needs to start taking those...

    I think he should play at another club in 2005. We should try to get a couple of quality defenders. And we should trade Juddy for a couple of forwards. Then our team would be very solid. But everybody will scream NO!!!!!!! you just can't do that, they're superstars. The way I look at it is...

    this isn't a premiership team, come on, lets be honest throw in the whole backline, mcdougall, gaspar, chicky, wirra, chambers, staker etc...sure, some of them have shown potential, glimpses, others have had good years but overall they're not a group of premiership players.

    St kilda had the heart to finish trash for 5 years to get the dream run this year. West Coast supporters don't have the heart to see even another 2 years of trash which is why we won't win another flag.

    If he is 24...does he have another 6 years in him to play until he's "30". I don't think so. Trade him. We don't need another 300k per year player finishing up their career with us.

    He looks over 30 and he's been acting over 30 the past couple of seasons. He is not 24. That is bull****. He has lied about his age which was why he killed them at the 16s.
