    I am going to be that person. When exactly do AFL members tickets go on sale next week for round 1 at the MCG? The AFL have announced a date time for "members" but that covers rounds 1-15. AFL members are usually a different time and only a month of games at a time.

    Is not weird. AFL members contributed to the cost of the SW Stand. Some priority access would not be unreasonable. I know MCC will usually (always?) get priority access to MCC areas for non AFL or cricket events (not necessarily a discount).

    I paid the lower amount so this doesn't affect me, but you should demand what they promised, or a refund of the extra you paid. Then say you'll do a charge back on the credit card, though that might be too late.

    I'm glad you got it sorted. Despite the hiccups it is good they gave members a chance to get tickets to other games before they went on sale to the general public. Last year the small venues sold out very quickly.

    Any luck? I just played around. Adult tickets allow 1 per membership. Child or Concession seems to allow more but it fails if you add 2 of these. Reducing back to 1 and it works. I think they forgot to update the options for that drop down. It is supposed to be only 1 per member so they did it...

    I joined 1 hour before and was about the same. I started another session 5 minutes before and was only a few hundred. Once in, worked a treat.

    You can tomorrow with that 3 hour window for members. They didn't have that last year and I still managed to (just) get tickets to other games I wanted, all the time competing with the general public. I wasn't trying for Crows or Power though, but I did get Collingwood plus Norwood and more...
