The said journalist has reported a list of questions was forwarded to both accused and the reply was not forth coming.
Now they may have decided that this was going nowhere so not worth the reply, but have underestimated how far they were prepared to go with this.

Agree, can't remember the last time a young player got away with mouthing off and complaining to an ump. He needs to realize he ain't gonna win....they have the whistle.

Generally a manager will advise based on career potential, currently North is career suicide.
Most players will listen to their manager and will stick a toe in the water to see how wet it gets. Remember, managers are well paid salesmen, looking after their own hip pocket
